Nook Ebook Reader

Fighting in the market of ebook readers is exacerbated. The American company Barnes & Noble gives a 2GB microSD card with 30 free ebooks to every new user of Nook, which previously had enjoyed another electronic reader. To receive the gift, consumers must show your old device with the purchase of Nook. Of course, hardly titles will appeal to everyone but the publisher have tried to have a little of all of the texts and genres ranging from cooking and kids to classical and more.

The official Amazon Kindle lighted cover is a brilliant idea for reading in the dark – perfect for bedbugs and bookworms.  On the other hand, it’ll set you back more than 50 quid, which seems a tad much for a case with a light on it.

Another solution is the M-Edge Executive Jacket with e-Luminator Light for Kindle which gave you the same function for less cost, weighing in at just under £40.

If you still think that’s excessive, though, we’ve get an even more cheaper option – the Luminous Case with Light for Kindle, which at just £19.95 is the cheapest Kindle cover with light yet.   It protects with a sturdy vinyl exterior and soft microfibre interior, and the light itself attached and detaches easily with the use of magnets built into the case.

Since Amazon is still not officially reported how many of the Kindle ebook are sold, suggesting that competing airlines also have reason to do so. As a result, anyone can tell us something like about the market for ebook readers and we should believe him because we do not have accurate information about its distribution. Therefore now accept on trust that the ebook reader from Nook of Barnes & Noble owns 25% of the market shares for such devices in the U.S.. From the publisher also did not report how many of Nook are sold so that we remain waiting for someone to deliver more accurate information to orient yourself. Meanwhile, the company reported a 25 percent drop in annual profit for its fiscal quarter ended January 29, due to increased investment in Nook. However, revenue for the period have been increased by 7%.

It seems that many device and software manufacturers increasingly believes in the possibility of using smartphones and tablets as an ebook readers. This is the same for Sony, which has finally decided to release an application for Android and iPhone, this software is necessary to access Sony’s books market in ePub and PDF format.

Sony Reader app and the Market is free and allows you to perform all the operations available on similar applications, including favorites and add them to change the font size while reading, and of course, to buy books and synchronize bookmarks, notes and more.  Sony Reader requires Android version 2.2 or higher.

It’s not just the  iPhone that gets all the love, Amazon has just released Kindle app for Android, their digital book store and reader software.

They had promised that this was coming for summer but I have come to expect delays in everything Android related and had forgotten all about this.

This requires Android 1.6+ and can be found in the Android Market now. There is a disclaimer stating that if you aren’t a US resident then the book availability may vary but I’ll have a look around.
